"Murder at the Gatsby Mansion's Speak Easy Club"
Next month, Seven Sisters Inn will be launching their new Murder Mystery Event ... "Murder at the Gatsby Mansion's Speak Easy Club", a roaring 20's twisted theme! Seven Sisters Inn will provide the "Sleazy Joint Meets Swanky Style" setting. In addition, you will be provided a distinctive head dress that will make sleuthing much easier, no where to hide! Participants provide the Flapping Attitude. Guests will definitely "Be Putting on the Ritz" with this event.
The Roaring 20's will be in full swing, again, giving birth to the rise of jazz music, the Charleston, flappers and (with the end of the war), a renewed feeling of hope and joviality. It's the era of Prohibition and organized crime is at an all time high. The Gatsby Mansion's Club is one of the speakeasys in town, fighting prohibition by serving alcohol illegally and offering patrons the type of fun that can't be had when the sun is up. Despite the constant threat of a raid, business at The Gatsby Mansion Club is lucrative, as men and women stream through the doors each night ... in their best dressed drags.
The three plus hours of fun and mysterious drama starts at 6pm with a murder, our famous Sleuth Mingling and plenty of liquid spirits (our version of Giggle Water called "Sinister Sangria"), wine and beer. Charleston quick step lessons will be provided, so that the music does not go without attention. All part of the plan to get the "who dun it" juices going! All this leads to a convention of murdering curiosities, where all the suspects meet in the dining room for a three course dinner, make irresponsible accusation, dodge the bullet of paranoia guilt .... until, finally, an arrest is done. Culprits are dragged away while the others wipe tears of laughter (and relief), sharing prizes that award their efforts.

The Seven Sisters Inn on July 27th will become the Bourbon Street Inn, and go back over 100 years ago to the mystique city of New Orleans. Two Krewes will gather at a ball, celebrating Mardi Gras and the formation of New Orleans' first ALL-Female Krewe ... Calypso. Why has this new Krewe invited the most notorious and powerful all male Krewe in the city, the Sinis Krewe? You will only find out when you entrench yourself into the bowels of the darkness of revenge and motive.

Spend an enchanted evening at the mysterious Seven Sisters Inn, located in the beautiful heart of Florida ... Ocala. Not only is the Inn one of Florida's most enchanting Bed and Breakfasts, but the perfect back-drop for the most perfect Murder.
Join us for "Murder at the Inn", where you will find yourself transported to a world of mystery and intrigue through the power of your own imagination (and wonderful food and spirits).
Held on the 4th Saturday Evening of the month, our staff of actors, a few props and an intriguing story line will plunge you directly into the romance and adventure of a thrilling mystery tale in the magically blended tradition of Sherlock Holmes and Alfred Hitchcock. We invite you to step across the footlights and become an active participant in our mystery play. Guests will be provided a role and encouraged to dress to fit the part. Additional colorful wardrobes and accessories will be available at the inn.
Besides a full evening of entertainment and dazzling exchange with fellow guests, the event includes hearty appetizers, dessert, wine and beer ... just to keep the momentum flowing for the "WHO DONE IT".

The menu is a four course dinner, including appetizers, salad, main course and of course ... the dessert! Includes wine, beer and our signature Sister Spirited Sizzling Sangria!
Before the event, you will participate in a fun "online audition" so that the perfect role is sent to you by email. You will then have enough time to prepare for your character's role and perhaps look for a wardrobe to compliment you for the event! For your convenience, the Inn has some outfits, hats, scarves that you may borrow. For Mardi Gras, the inn will provide you with the specific colored mask you have been assigned to, or you can put on the arts/crafts hat on and make a dazzling one yourself.
The main objective is to start having fun the moment you sign up for the event!

In the process of removing suspicion from yourself, you question or point to others with motive and opportunity. Often, it seems the opportunity is for laughter, judging from the sounds coming from the room where guests are savoring hors d'oeuvres, or later in the dining room where a yummy Southern-Charmed dinner of sumptuous character and proportions is partaken by the suspects.
